Invoice capture
Privacy policy
Last updated 2026-10-08
Invoice capture is a private tool for two people. This page explains what it keeps and who else sees it.
Google user data
You sign in with Google. The app asks for three scopes: openid, email and profile. It uses your email address to check it against the allow-list, and keeps it with your session and as the name on any invoice edit you make. Your name and profile picture are not stored.
Invoices
Files and text you submit, the details read from them, and the chosen category are stored in the app's own database on its server.
Tax spreadsheet
A Google service account (not your Google account) writes totals and a Transactions log into Google Sheets.
Who else receives data
| Service | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Anthropic | Invoice text and images | To read the supplier, date and amount, and to suggest a label |
| Typesafe Jev | Invoice text and the list of candidate categories | To pick the tax category |
| Langfuse | Traces of each processing step, with account and card numbers masked; your email only as a user id | To monitor and improve accuracy |
| Cloudflare R2 | Encrypted backup copies of the database and files | Off-site backup |
| Hostinger | Everything the app stores, on its server | Hosting |
How long we keep it
- Invoices are kept until deleted on request.
- Nightly backups on the server are kept for 14 days.
- Backup copies in Cloudflare R2 are kept for 90 days.
- Sign-in sessions expire after 30 days.
